The Amy Winehouse Band was formed with a single mission: to keep the music, spirit, and legacy of Amy Winehouse alive in the only truly authentic way. The band is led by Dale Davis, Amy’s longtime musical director, bassist, and confidant. On the current tour he is joined by musicians who performed and recorded with Amy and who helped shape her distinctive sound.
Amy Winehouse was and remains one of the greatest voices of the British music scene. She is both a national and international treasure whose music continues to gain new fans with every generation. Her albums Frank and Back to Black left a defining mark on the global music landscape, where Amy and her outstanding band made an indelible impact on pop, soul, and jazz.
Their show features archival video footage and a unique visual experience. The production has toured the world, from London, Paris, and Athens to Helsinki, Jakarta, and South America, often playing to sold-out venues and provoking deeply emotional responses from audiences. In April 2025, NME wrote that “the band keeps the singer’s flame burning bright,” while The Times thanked the group for keeping her songs and spirit alive.
The band features Dale Davis (bass/MD), Hawie Gondwe (guitar), Nathan Allen or Stuart Anning (drums), Henry Collins (trumpet), a saxophonist, and Ade Omotayo on backing vocals. Lead vocals are performed by either Bronte Shande or Beth Morris, two outstanding singers personally selected by Dale Davis.
The Amy Winehouse Band is not just a tribute act, but a unique, emotional, and unforgettable concert experience that can only be delivered by the musicians who knew Amy’s world from the inside.
