Rita Ora

Rita Ora is a British singer, songwriter, and actress of Albanian descent, born in Pristina, present-day Kosovo. She rose to international fame in 2012 after featuring on “Hot Right Now” by DJ Fresh, which topped the UK Singles Chart. That same year, she released her debut album Ora, which entered the UK Albums Chart at number one and produced the hit singles “R.I.P.” and “How We Do (Party).” She had previously signed with Roc Nation, the label founded by Jay-Z, in 2008.

In the years that followed, she further established her career with the hit “Black Widow” alongside Australian rapper Iggy Azalea and with her second studio album Phoenix (2018), which included the successful singles “Your Song,” “Anywhere,” and “Let You Love Me.” The latter made her the first British female solo artist to achieve thirteen top-ten singles in the UK. Beyond music, she has also been active on television as a judge and coach on shows such as The X Factor and The Masked Singer, and appeared as an actress in the film series Fifty Shades of Grey.
