Emina Jahović (born January 15, 1982, in Novi Pazar) is a Serbian-Turkish singer, songwriter, actress, and entrepreneur of Bosnian descent. With her musical versatility and distinct stylistic identity, she ranks among the most prominent pop figures in the Balkans.
She began her music career in 2002 with the album Tačka, and has since released six studio albums, including Radije ranije (2005), Vila (2009), Metamorfoza (2014), Dalje (2018), and the latest Svitanje (2025), which showcases a new musical direction and further establishes her as a mature and dynamic songwriter.
Emina’s style blends pop, R&B, electronic rhythms, and Balkan melodic influences. Her songs such as Da l’ ona zna, Limunada (featuring Milica Todorović), and Žena zmaj have become regional hits. As a songwriter, she often pens her own lyrics or collaborates with renowned producers such as Mustafa Sandal and Darko Dimitrov.
In addition to music, she gained fame as an actress—between 2010 and 2014, she starred in the lead female role in the popular Turkish TV series Lale Devri (The Tulip Era). She also served as a judge on talent shows such as X Factor Adria (2013) and Rising Star Türkiye (2016).
Emina has also made a successful foray into business—she launched her own cosmetics brand, Yaemina Beauty, which includes perfumes, body care products, and decorative cosmetics. She has been the face of numerous fashion and beauty campaigns and is a frequent cover star of regional lifestyle magazines.
