Dream Syndicate

The Dream Syndicate emerged from Los Angeles in the early 1980s as a driving force of the Paisley Underground, fusing garage rock, psychedelia, and post-punk intensity at a moment when American indie music was still taking shape. Led by songwriter and vocalist Steve Wynn, the band quickly gained a reputation for long, exploratory guitar work, visceral live shows, and emotionally charged songs, releasing four albums and touring extensively before disbanding in 1988. They reunited in 2012, with a core lineup that blends original members and later collaborators, and have remained creatively active ever since.
