DIVANHANA

Divanhana is a Bosnian music group founded in 2009 by students of the Sarajevo Music Academy. Their mission is to preserve and present the urban traditional music of the Balkans, with a particular focus on sevdalinka songs. Their style blends elements of jazz, pop, and 20th-century classical music, creating unique arrangements of traditional tunes. The group has released several studio albums, with Zavrzlama (2022) standing out—it earned the "Best Group" award from the British music magazine Songlines. Divanhana has performed at numerous international festivals and concerts across Europe and collaborated with various artists, including Suzan Kardeş, Svetlana Spajić, and Bradley Dean.
