Dean Lewis

Dean Lewis (full name Dean Lewis Grant Loaney) is an Australian singer and songwriter, born on October 21, 1987, in Sydney, Australia. He is best known for his emotional pop ballads and honest lyrics that explore themes of love, loss, and personal growth.

He gained international recognition in 2016 with the single Waves, which was featured in several television shows, including Suits and Riverdale. His breakthrough came with the 2018 hit Be Alright, which reached number one on the Australian ARIA Chart, achieved multi-platinum status worldwide, and became his signature song.

His debut album, A Place We Knew (2019), was both a commercial and critical success, showcasing Lewis’s introspective songwriting, powerful vocals, and simple yet emotionally charged melodies.
