Black Eyed Peas

Black Eyed Peas is an American musical group from Los Angeles, formed in 1995. The core members are will.i.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo, and from 2002 to 2016, Fergie, whose presence helped catapult the group to global fame. They are known for their unique fusion of hip hop, pop, electronic, funk, and dance music—bridging the gap between alternative rap and mainstream success. Their breakthrough came in 2003 with the album Elephunk, which featured mega-hits like “Where Is the Love?”, “Shut Up”, and “Let’s Get It Started.” This was followed by the even more successful Monkey Business (2005), which included hits like “Don’t Phunk with My Heart” and “My Humps”. These albums cemented their status as global superstars. In 2009, they dominated the charts with The E.N.D. (The Energy Never Dies), delivering electro-pop anthems such as “Boom Boom Pow”, “I Gotta Feeling”, and “Meet Me Halfway.” “I Gotta Feeling” became one of the best-selling digital singles of all time. After a hiatus and Fergie’s departure in 2016, Black Eyed Peas returned to their hip hop roots with Masters of the Sun Vol. 1 (2018), then surprised fans with the Latin-influenced albums Translation (2020) and Elevation (2022). These featured collaborations with global stars like Shakira, Maluma, Ozuna, and J Balvin.
