Bad Religion

Bad Religion are an American punk rock band from Los Angeles, formed in 1980, and are considered one of the most influential groups in the history of punk rock. They are characterized by intelligent, socially critical, and often political lyrics, as well as their distinctive vocal harmonies.

The band began their journey in the underground scene, but with albums such as Suffer (1988) and No Control (1989), they became a key pillar of the American punk revival. Their greatest commercial breakthrough followed in the 1990s with albums Generator, Recipe for Hate, and Stranger Than Fiction, which included one of their most recognizable singles, 21st Century (Digital Boy).

To date, they have released more than 15 studio albums, and their lyrics often address themes such as religion, politics, ecology, and social progress. Despite their long career, they remain active and influential—their latest album, Age of Unreason (2019), was very well received and confirms that Bad Religion are still a voice of rebellion and reason in the world of punk rock.
